Nissan rolls out the 2013 Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3

Nissan has left it open for their tuning and racing counterpart Nismo to create the new 2013 Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3, the racecar that will take place in the FIA GT1 racing circuit. This version of the GT-R Nismo GT3 is different than its past models as it uses the same twin-turbo V6 engine found in the street legal GT-R. The difference is that this engine has been tweaked to crank out 550 horsepower and 470 Lb.-Ft. of Torque. Another large difference is the largely tweaked camshaft timing as well as the added reinforcement to moving parts to ensure durability. This new power is mated with a six-speed manual transmission that helps send all the new found power to the rear wheels.

A new aerodynamics kit has been added to help with cornering and optimizing downforce. Though the GT-R Nismo GT3 is not street legal, it can be purchased for personal use, though you would be ordering from Europe, and the European costs would be roughly 270,000 Euros, which translates roughly to $429,000. So as only few select of us will be able to make that purchase, the rest of us can bask in its glory and which videos like the one below and be in awe of the Nismo masterpiece that it is.
