Nissan’s 2014 Maxima defies the typical four-door stereotype with its luxury sports sedan styling and “4-door sports car” theme. Extending the alluring, contemporary design of the 2013 model, Nissan ups the ante with newly renovated equipment features and bold exterior colors.
The Maxima 3.5 S has the option of a Limited Edition Package priced at $750. The package presents drivers with superior xenon headlights, 18” aluminum-alloy dark hyper silver wheels, rear spoiler, fog lamps, integrated turn signals placed on outside mirror, a compass in the rearview mirror, and metallic trim treatment.
The 3.5 SV comes with an improved rearview monitor, USB connectivity, a 7” color monitor with a QVGA display, Sirius XM radio, and xenon headlights.
The Maxima is available in eight brilliant colors; Gun Metallic and Midnight Garnet are new to the color palette and offer sleek, lustrous finishes desired in many traditional sports cars.
The 2014 Maxima maintains the same per-gallon mileage as the 2013 model at 19mpg city and 26mpg highway. It also boasts a 290-horsepower 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve VQ-series V6 engine. Additionally, the Maxima is equipped with the Nissan Hard Drive Navigation system, including NavTraffic real-time traffic information and NavWeather, along with voice recognition. The Maxima is also furnished with a state-of-the-art Bose 9-Speaker Audio System.
