2017 Rogue Trail Warrior Project Unveiled at New York Auto Show

2017 Nissan Rogue Trail Warrior ProjectAt the 2017 New York International Auto Show, Nissan showed off a hardcore off-road machine unlike any other—the Rogue Trailer Warrior Project. This unique vehicle was designed just for the show, so, unfortunately, you won’t be seeing it at Lewis Nissan.

The most noticeable feature is the snow/sand track. These tracks let the Rogue Trail Warrior glide right over the trickiest terrains. They are 30 inches high, 48 inches long, and 15 inches wide and are used in place of the Rogue’s normal wheels. While the suspension and wheel wells were modified for the tracks, all other powertrain components are standard, including the Rogue’s 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine.

In addition to the amazing khaki-painted tracks, the Trail Warrior has a custom camouflage body wrap and military-style yellow glassworks.

“This new Rogue Trail Warrior adds a new dimension to family adventures with its snow/sand tracks, gear basket, winch and camo paint,” said Michael Bunce, vice president, Product Planning, Nissan North America, Inc. “If you want to stand out from the crowd during a day on the slopes or the beach, this is the vehicle to take.”
