Tailgating Tips For Your Nissan Titan

Tailgating Tips in Your Nissan Titan

Make your life even easier this season by setting up the ultimate tailgate! No one is happier than a person driving their new Nissan Titan to the big game and starting with a cookout. By following these tailgating tips you can stay organized, remember everything you need and have more fun instead of taking the time to clean.

  1. Prep your food before you get there – By skewering meat, shaping burgers, cutting up veggies and more before you arrive, you can spend less time preparing and more time celebrating!
  2. Pack the essentials (and backups) – Go through your whole meal and day to make sure that you have what you need, and enough of it. You know you’ll need charcoal, tongs, can openers, condiments, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, etc.
  3. Think of the cleanup – When packing your food, bring items in a plastic tub that can be used to store dirty dishes when you’re done. You can also make a cardboard box into a makeshift cooler (just add a couple trash bags inside for waterproofing) and you can just throw it away at the end!

In the end, you want your tailgate to be about having fun, not stressing about every detail. Make sure to find the perfect truck for your tailgating needs at Lewis Nissan in Beckley, WV. Let us find you the pickup of your dreams!

2017 Rogue Trail Warrior Project Unveiled at New York Auto Show

2017 Nissan Rogue Trail Warrior ProjectAt the 2017 New York International Auto Show, Nissan showed off a hardcore off-road machine unlike any other—the Rogue Trailer Warrior Project. This unique vehicle was designed just for the show, so, unfortunately, you won’t be seeing it at Lewis Nissan.

The most noticeable feature is the snow/sand track. These tracks let the Rogue Trail Warrior glide right over the trickiest terrains. They are 30 inches high, 48 inches long, and 15 inches wide and are used in place of the Rogue’s normal wheels. While the suspension and wheel wells were modified for the tracks, all other powertrain components are standard, including the Rogue’s 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine.

In addition to the amazing khaki-painted tracks, the Trail Warrior has a custom camouflage body wrap and military-style yellow glassworks.

“This new Rogue Trail Warrior adds a new dimension to family adventures with its snow/sand tracks, gear basket, winch and camo paint,” said Michael Bunce, vice president, Product Planning, Nissan North America, Inc. “If you want to stand out from the crowd during a day on the slopes or the beach, this is the vehicle to take.”

If you could have an adventure in the Nissan Rogue Trail Warrior Project, where would you go?

Announced Nissan Rogue Hybrid Price Crushes Competing Toyota RAV4

The Nissan Rogue is one of the most popular compact SUVs on the market, offering an excellent balance of fuel efficiency and performance that drivers adore. Add that balance to clever cargo space and top-notch tech, and you have a winner.

In the coming year, we will even see a hybrid edition of the Nissan Rogue – which, as it turns out, will be quite affordable. The model will even be more than $2,000 cheaper than the only other hybrid model in its class, the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.

You can own the 2017 Nissan Rogue Hybrid for just $27,180, saving you tons of money at the dealership and continuing to save you money with every mile you drive. Additionally, you will be lowering your personal impact on the environment.

Additionally, the Nissan Rogue Hybrid will be available in two trim levels, each of which can be purchased with all-wheel drive, for an extra $4,920. But take note – even the top Rogue trim level, the SL, is cheaper than the base level of the Toyota RAV4.

2017 Nissan Rogue Sport Debuts in Detroit, Coming This Spring

Fresh off of seeing the Nissan Rogue break the automaker’s all-time single-month sales record in December with 40,477 units shipped, Nissan has revealed a new offering geared toward crossover shoppers who want something just a bit smaller: the 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport.

“The new Rogue Sport is a perfect addition to the red-hot Rogue lineup, which is also adding a first-ever Rogue Hybrid model for 2017,” said Michael Bunce, vice president of Product Planning for Nissan North America. “With Rogue Sport’s slightly smaller dimensions and sporty maneuverability, it’s ideal for singles or couples without kids—or empty nesters—who want a sportier vehicle and can live with a little less cargo capacity than the current Rogue offers.”

Held up to the 2017 Rogue, the Nissan Rogue Sport boasts a 2.3-inch shorter wheelbase, 12.1-inch shorter length, 0.1-inch shorter width, and 5.6-inch shorter height, all of which serves to make it easier for navigating through cities and pulling into tight parking spots. Still, the Rogue Sport is comparable to its larger sibling in terms of headroom, legroom, hip room, and shoulder room, and its max cargo area is still impressive with up to 22.9 cubic feet with the second row upright and 61.1 cubic feet with the second row folded flat.

The Rogue Sport comes standard with a 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve inline-four mated to an Xtronic transmission, which doles out 141 horsepower and 147 lb-ft of torque. The Rogue Sport will be offered with Nissan Intelligent Safety Shield tech, including Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Intelligent Cruise Control, and Forward Emergency Braking.

Set to be released this spring, the Rogue Sport will be offered in S, SV, and SL trim levels. Stay tuned for more information on this hot new crossover as it is released!

Nissan Unveils 2017 JUKE Black Pearl Edition and Versa Note

JUKE Black Pearl Edition - Nissan JUKEJust prior to their debuts at the Los Angeles Auto Show in mid-November, Nissan launched the facelifted 2017 Versa Note and the 2017 JUKE Black Pearl Edition. Along with the NISMO and the Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition, the four were unveiled together at the LA Auto Show, but Nissan revealed the JUKE and Versa Note early because of the sheer volume of new Nissan vehicles debuting this and next year.

All four debuts follow Nissan’s “Year of the Truck” campaign, which has so far introduced the all-new 2017 Armada, Pathfinder, Rogue, and two TITANS. The new Versa Note has a new front end and fascia, its fluid v-shaped grille flowing into the headlights.

The Versa Note also comes with two new paint options, a metallic Monarch Orange and Deep Blue Pearl. VP of Product Planning Michael Bunce said the new design will help the Versa and Versa Note hold their position as the most popular entry-level car on the market.

The JUKE Black Pearl Edition is extremely limited, with only 1,250 units being produced: 1,000 for the US and 250 for Canada. The Black Pearl Edition will have white bumper accents, heated outside mirrors, black interior seats with white stitching, and other elements that add to its high-contrast appearance.
