Stay Safe This Halloween with These Tips!

Trick-or-Treat Safety TipsHalloween is almost here and we want to make sure you and your children are set for safety when trick-or-treating! Trick-or-Treat is your kids favorite part of Halloween, except for their costume of course! Below are some great tips for Halloween and trick-or-treat night!

  1. Walk Safely – When you cross the street, make sure you cross at corners and use traffic signals and sidewalks if they are there. Always look left and right before crossing the road! If there is a sidewalk or path, make sure you use that instead of walking in the street. This will keep you and your children safe from drivers.
  2. Go with an Adult – Children under the age of 12 should not be alone at night without an adult. If your child is mature enough to go out without an adult, have them trick-or-treat in a group with friends.
  3. Keep Costumes Safe – If possible decorate their costumes and bags with reflective tape or stickers so that drivers can see them. Choose face paint and makeup over masks so that your kid’s vision is not obstructed. Make sure that the costumes fit them so they don’t trip and fall.
  4. Drive Safely! – Slow down and be especially alert during prime trick-or-treat hours. Kids are excited on Halloween and can be unpredictable. Take extra time to look for kids at intersections and on curbs.

Those are just some great tips for trick-or-treat and Halloween! Be safe this Halloween!

The redesigned V-Motion grille and headlights resemble Nissan’s Maxima sedan, and the SR, SV, and SL trim levels come with fog lights. The base model comes standard with halogen high beam and projector low beam headlights. The new overall shape of the exterior has made the Altima 10% more aerodynamic, reducing wind noise in the cabin and improving fuel efficiency.

The interior has also been completely redesigned. The 2016 Altima features a 5- or 7-inch touchscreen display with NissanConnectSM and available NissanConnect Navigation. The cloth upholstery has a more open weave pattern, and the front seats have been entirely reshaped for a new look.

The 2016 Altima redesign will also be available in seven different trim levels, with pricing still to be announced.
