All four debuts follow Nissan’s “Year of the Truck” campaign, which has so far introduced the all-new 2017 Armada, Pathfinder, Rogue, and two TITANS. The new Versa Note has a new front end and fascia, its fluid v-shaped grille flowing into the headlights.
The Versa Note also comes with two new paint options, a metallic Monarch Orange and Deep Blue Pearl. VP of Product Planning Michael Bunce said the new design will help the Versa and Versa Note hold their position as the most popular entry-level car on the market.
The JUKE Black Pearl Edition is extremely limited, with only 1,250 units being produced: 1,000 for the US and 250 for Canada. The Black Pearl Edition will have white bumper accents, heated outside mirrors, black interior seats with white stitching, and other elements that add to its high-contrast appearance.
Red, Yellow, Orange, Electric Blue, and Black Purple are five of eight colors from which you can choose to accent your new 2015 Nissan JUKE. The JUKE Color Studio program provides owners with a unique opportunity to customize their rides – no more trying to unlock the wrong vehicle in a crowded parking lot where your car is still two aisles away.
Through the Color Studio, you can select any number of 12 accessories created specifically for the 2015 JUKE to make the vehicle uniquely yours. Most of the parts will also fit the 2011-2014 model year vehicles as well.
Once you decide on the parts, you are then able to choose the color(s). You can decide from the colors we mentioned earlier. The neutrals White, Matte Black, or Carbon-fiber Look are also included in the list of available options.
We at Lewis Nissan will take it from there; your accessories can be installed right here at the dealership. It’s as simple as that. Hurry; the sooner you find where the car is parked, the sooner you can head over here to customize your one-of-a-kind Nissan JUKE.
Many car buyers search for something a little different in their vehicles, like a standout color or unique shape. For these shoppers, the Nissan Cube and CrossCabriolet were two options that could fill that need.
In a recent announcement, however, Nissan drops the Cube and the CrossCabriolet from its 2015 lineup. These were two of Nissan’s most unique designs; but, don’t worry, Nissan has promised it will still be quirky.
In speaking with Automotive News, Nissan’s chief planning officer, Andy Palmer, said, “To be clear, we will morph this space in our portfolio into something iconic. The space is held to make sure we have something iconic.”
As to what will fill the space, Nissan hasn’t said, but as Automotive News points out, there have been plenty of Nissan concepts that would be a welcome addition, for example, the wedge-shaped BladeGlider or the IDx. And, hey, there’s always the slightly bug-eyed Nissan JUKE.
Unless you have a birthday or other special event to celebrate, January can be a pretty dull month. And, with the extreme winter weather across the country this year, January was pretty dismal for everybody.
Nissan, however, has cause to cheer. It was one of the few brands that actually had a jump in January sales numbers. Most brands saw their January sales numbers take a dive.
Compared to January 2013, Nissan had a gain of 11.8 percent in January. Leading those sales were the ever-popular, zero-emissions Nissan LEAF, which had nearly double the sales as last year. Both the Juke and the Rogue set January sales records with gains of 45.8 and 54.5 percent, respectively.
Two other models saw jumps in sales. One was the popular Altima with a 4.9 percent boost. The other was the small pickup, the Frontier, which had a dramatic increase of 87.9 percent.
Hopefully we have seen the last of the extreme winter weather and we can all enjoy a long, pleasant spring. Though, according to Punxsutawney Phil, we have six more long weeks of winter.
It was long ago confirmed that the Nissan Juke-R, a performance ridden version of the Juke crossover would begin production. Since then little has been said about the super SUV until now. Nissan has given a sneak peak of the Juke that got its inspiration from the Nissan GT-R supercar. That being said the first of only a handful of the Nissan Juke-R that are being made is ready for delivery to someone with much more money than the average American.
The production version of the Juke-R is much more powerful than the concept that was on display earlier in the year; being given the very same 3.8 Liter twin-turbocharged V6 given to the 2013 Nissan GT-R, the Nissan Juke-R is rated at 545 horsepower. That is substantially more than the 480 horsepower that the Juke-R concept had. Equipped with this souped up engine the Nissan Juke-R has a top speed of an astounding 170 MPH and can reach 0-60 MPH in under three seconds. This is not your typical SUV.
Nissan shortly announced the pricing of the Juke-R, and it falls roughly around $521,000. Though the Nissan Juke-R will be made in Europe, if you have that kind of money, getting it shipped to the U.S is the least of your worries. For the rest of who clearly can’t purchase one of these, the Juke-R will be featured in a new game for mobile phones, and likely others, called Asphalt 7: Heat, which will be available on iPhone and Android. Check out the videos below to check out the super-SUV and let your jaw drop.
At the 2012 Paris Motor show that took place last week Nissan its newest variant of the Nissan Juke, the Nissan Juke NISMO. With most NISMO upgrades, you normally can expect some sports upgrades such as spoilers, body kits, leather interior with NISMO stitching, and most of all a power upgrade to the engine. But with the Nissan Juke NISMO we got most of that, the thing that was most lacking was the thing we all want the most. The engine upgrade.
Don’t get discouraged, there was a slight power increase in the sporty crossover, it now gets 197 horsepower up from the original 187 horsepower and 184 Lb.-Ft. of Torque; but that’s about it. Everything else seems to be apart of the appearance makeover. The interior gets a facelift and now is garnished in plenty of black suede and red stitching of NISMO that cover much of the crossover including the new bucket seats. The exterior gets a similar appearance treatment with a rear spoiler to help with downforce, a new more “mean” front spoiler to make the car look more aggressive. Though with only 10 horsepower added its hard to believe the Nissan Juke NISMO being any more aggressive than the Nissan Leaf.
That being said here is a nice video detailing the new Juke Variant. We can expect these to hit the European market first, then Japan, ending with the U.S., maybe by the time they get here they will add a few more horsies to the Nissan Juke NISMO.
There has been a lot of talk and a lot of excitement over the Paris Motor Show that began yesterday. But one vehicle has taken the spotlight. The Nissan Terra Concept is the new zero emissions, off-road concept that runs on fuel cells. Similar to Nissan Xterra, the Nissan Terra is an SUV that built withstand the off-road experience.
The Terra Concept has a design style similar to that of the Nissan Juke, but has a taller more bold stance that lets you know that its ready for the dirt road. It is a fully electric engine running off fuel cells that power the four-wheel drive system that is mated to it. The engine system set is different though than any other EV we have seen so far. The Nissan Terra Concept is power by three separate engines, one engine to power the front wheels, a similar setup to that of the Nissan Leaf, and then to hydrogen engines to power the real wheels. Allowing you to conserve energy when the rear-wheel power is not needed on city roads.
Nissan chooses the hydrogen cells at a time when the fuel cells stacks are dropping in price, making this a real possibility as a production vehicle. The only real think holding Nissan back from a hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle is the lack of a hydrogen fuel infrastructure like hydrogen fuel stations. Which is currently one of the issues with electric vehicles
Check out this video of the new Nissan Terra Concept. Who knows it may not be long before these hit the streets and gas prices no longer matter.
